Confined to brackish areas. In the Netherlands recorded in waters with 0,086-14,8 promile Cl-1. Due to considerable changes in brackish areas over the past 150 years (projects such as the Deltawerken and Afsluitdijk), the Dutch range of R. harrisii went through large expansions and declines too. Recently recorded locally in the province of Zeeland and the Noordzeekanaal, Noord-Holland. |
