Indeling

Motacillidae [familie]
Anthus [genus] (9/3)
trivialis [soort]

Widely distributed over the sandy soils, with relatively high densities in some lower peat moors with shrubs (northwest Overijssel). The species contracted its breeding range in farmland, especially in the Delta (decrease is known for half a century), river area and in the extreme southeast, although only small populations were involved here. Numbers on heath and in (open or newly planted) forests have grown slightly since the 1970s, those in coastal dunes decreased until recently. About 35,000-45,000 bp in 1998-2000.
