Erebia ligea is a vagrant. It has been found twice: near Apeldoorn in the province of Gelderland, two adults were seen, one of which was identified as a female, and near Belfeld, in the province of Limburg, a female and two males. The date of the sighting from Belfeld, 28th May, does not correspond with its usual flight period. Nevertheless, we assume that the record is correct.
