Indeling

Ceriagrion [genus] (1/1)
tenellum [soort]

Ceriagrion tenellum is a common species that predominantly occurs in bog habitats in the Pleistocene parts of the country. The species inhabits acidic, oligo- to mesotrophic waters, which are bordered by a vegetation of Carex or Juncus species, preferably intermixed with Spaghnum. More rarely, populations were found on calcareous seepage and streamlets. On a national level the species has remained stable during the past century. The degradation of habitats in the south has decreased the number of populations there, but the species increased in the northern provinces, for reasons that are yet to be understood.
