Zeldzaamheid Zeldzaam
Invasiviteit Potentieel invasief
Invasiviteit (toelichting) Perennial species. Known as invasive in North America and South America, Oceania and in Spain in Europe. It is a C4-plant, so it can profit from climate change. Known as a weed, causing especially problems in agricultural areas. It is a threat for native plant species in Hawai. It is probably too cold for this species in the Netherlands to be able to outcompete the native Dutch flora. In parts of the world with a warm climate (such parts of South America), this species causes problems for agriculture: a decrease in the harvest and enhanced costs for weed control.
