Invasiviteit (toelichting) First record for Europa: 1622, France; the increase (before 1990 0 records versus 325 since 1990) shows that nowadays the species is far better known than before, but it cannot be denied that R. typhina thrives where it has been planted. The main distribution is in the middle and southern part of the Netherlands; there are only few localities in the northern part.
